Windswept Landscape Studios
Our yard looks fabulous! We enjoy it every time we go outside and feel that we were really lucky to have found Windswept Landscape Studios and their wonderful design team and crew that does the implementation.  Good luck on future projects and we hope to see you return to finish phase II in the near future!

We contacted Windswept Landscape Studios to come up with a landscape renovation plan to help us refine the existing plantings, while incorporating an additional patio space for entertaining. This was going to be a challenge since we already had an existing brick paving deck surrounding our pool with many valuable tree and plant specimens blocking important views from our residence. Tim was able to achieve a fine balance of additional patio, while incorporating the existing planting to accommodate the new design layout. The new work blended perfectly with the existing landscape and created the backyard landscape master piece that we had always envisioned but did not know how to make happen until we contacted Windswept Landscape Studios.

Upon return from living overseas, I contacted Tim Turner at Windswept Landscape Studios to help upgrade the plantings around the pool area courtyard of the house that I had just moved into. Windswept had done an amazing job with my next door neighbor’s backyard and I was hoping that he could come up with some innovative ideas for my specific outdoor area. The planting layout design contained unique specimens for the Houston area that worked and took into account minimal irrigation usage once established. The design and chosen materials including pottery, rock work, and plantings blew me away upon the completion of the install. The final result was beyond anything that I could have imagined. I now enjoy being in my backyard so much that I never want to leave!

Tim was able to take the landscape that our builder installed and turn it into something distinctive. He was able to celebrate the architecture of our house rather than hide it. All of the recent plantings were used and spectacular new specimens were added to punctuate and accentuate both the front and back. The professional and knowledgeable installation crew did a great job excavating the beds and conditioning the soil to ensure our landscape would produce stellar results in the years to come. Entry planters create a sense of arrival while providing seasonal interest, while the lighting allows enjoyment of the landscape well into the evening. Windswept Landscape Studios was and continues to be a pleasure to work with for our seasonal color changes.

Over the past few years Windswept Landscape Studios has implemented a landscape plan that incorporated both our front and back areas. We have enjoyed watching the transformation of Tim’s design be brought into reality in a phased process. Both Tim and his knowledgeable crew provided a smooth transition during the installation of each phase. We appreciate his ability to come up with a scope of work that meets our family’s functional outdoor needs, while remaining aesthetically pleasing to our specific residence.

Windswept Landscape Studios did a beautiful job putting together a phased landscape master plan. We began the front first phase once the construction of my new home in Garden Oaks was completed. This included incorporation of a brick paver cobbled walk that transitioned the front entry of my house to the driveway and foundation plantings with specimen trees in my large front yard to frame my house. The front came out so nice, I immediately started work on my large backyard to include perimeter beds and small patio area used for grilling. Windswept Landscape Studios provided a good foundation for my landscape which also included drainage. The low voltage lighting gives me an opportunity to enjoy my outdoor areas both day and night.

We called Tim as a result of what a nice job he did for our neighbor’s courtyard. Our courtyard was a clean slate to start from, since our home was recently built. Being a new construction townhome brought about many additional unplanned expenses, so our landscape budget was limited. Tim and his landscape installation crew did a remarkable job in creating an inviting and tranquil landscape brick patio and garden space while staying within our financial boundaries. Since our living room and master bedroom overlook the courtyard, the outdoor space literally became an integral visual part of our house. Tim’s attention to detail and timely manner for completing of our landscape project exceeded our expectations. We will continue to use Windswept Landscape Studios to consult us with our landscape and always refer them to our friends or anyone looking for landscape design and installation services.

After having a previous landscape designer work with us that did not follow through with several items that needed addressing during the landscape installation, we decided to contact Tim at Windswept Landscape Studios. After going through an unpleasant experience of not getting what was proposed in the original design, we were ready to move on with someone who would listen to us, create a landscape plan according our needs and wants, and finally install the project according to the plan. Tim and his knowledgeable staff did exactly what we had wanted in the first place. I only wished that I had originally met him at the beginning of our landscape project. His work ethic and knowledge of his field is superior. Tim has a natural talent for landscape design. We are now extremely happy with our landscape and enjoy using our backyard. It’s a relaxing space that provides a nice refuge for both of us! We highly recommend Tim and look forward to using Windswept Landscape Studios on Phase II of our landscape project.

My husband and I recently moved to League City, Texas from another city. We were not familiar with the plant and soil conditions here. We contacted Tim who was referred to us from a new business colleague. We set up a consultation with Tim to discuss our landscape needs for our entire yard. Once he created a landscape master plan for us, Tim and is skillful friendly team proceeded to bring the plan into reality. . Wow! What a difference a well thought out landscape design makes for the overall curb appeal of our new home! Tim was not only knowledgeable in his profession, but also friendly and easy to work with. The process from start to finish was done in a timely, cost effective, low maintenance, creative, and inviting manor. Tim and his team truly care about meeting their customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. We thank them for making our transition into our new home and city an easy and enjoyable one. Windswept Landscape Studios will always be recommended by us.

Tim’s unique approach for landscape design and his ability to fuse that style and approach to meet every individual’s landscape need was why we contacted him. My husband and I had very unique ideas of how we wanted to use our outdoor space. We wanted an inviting tranquil yard that we could come home to while not having to spend our entire time maintaining it. Tim was able to take our requests and bring them into reality by incorporating elements of surprise that create a harmonious setting to attract wildlife into our garden. Our water feature is a sculptural focal that bring a sense of coolness and relaxation from the gentle flow of the water. His attention to detail and taking an idea into reality is impeccable. We look forward to enjoying our yard throughout the years.

Tim and his team did a extraordinary job on landscaping my small townhome entry. His use of plant materials to merge with the contemporary architecture was the finishing touch for my front entry. Their custom landscape service has set my small outdoor space apart from my neighbors.
